About our Client
Our client is a National mining company based in Perth. They have seen rapid growth since the discovery of their high grade mineral deposit here in Western Australia. Due to the next transition into a producing mine they are looking to take on a Sales Accountant to join their finance team.

Job Description
Reporting directly to the Project Accountant you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Using extensive analysis, work closely with other departments within the business to develop new ideas and improve current practices
• Implement new sales accounting processes including the sales invoicing procedures
• Set up a reporting system that will allow management of sales from the mine site to the buyer
• Bank reconciliations and multi currency transactions
• Overall support to the accounts team when necessary at month end

The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant must be tertiary qualified in accounts or a similar degree. Someone that is studying towards their CPA or CA will be looked upon favourably, however this is not essential for this role. You must have had some exposure to a similar role within the mining and resources industry and be able to liaise effectively with clients and the finance team. Some exposure to Pronto is also needed for this role.
