Job Description
The Logistics Analyst duties will include :

• Overseeing the inventory management and warehousing activities including importation, storage and dispatch.
• Controlling the companies logistics & expediting processes ensuring all inventory is traveling between locations efficiently.
• Organising sea and air freight schedules & negotiating effectively with freight companies.
• Managing the documentation, tracking, and storage of clients material ensuring these activities are performed as per clients procedures.
• Communicating with the clients major customers and various suppliers to ensure a high level of service is achieved by performing tasks efficiently, safely and on time.
• Determining customer requirements and providing advice where needed to satisfy their needs.

The Successful Applicant
The successfull candidate will have extensive experience in a Logistics Analyst role with a tertiary degree in this discipline highly regarded. You will possess a high level of attention to detail and strong communication & negotiation skills with a strong focus on client care and the ability to liaise with suppliers and vendors effectively. You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel with experience in SAP and Sharepoint as an advantage.
