About our Client
Our client is an International mining company that has assets located in many different continents around the globe. They have diversified their output over their lifespan and this has allowed them to grow and incorporate smaller businesses. This continued growth has led to the creation of this Systems Accountant position.

Job Description
Reporting to the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop and maintain the Pronto system already in place
• Help with implementation of Cognos
• Assist with month end reporting when necessary and provide general support to the accounting team
• Take the role of systems administrator and help with associated training and ongoing support within the business
• Ad hoc projects

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must have a tertiary degree in accounts or a similar degree. You will preferably be CPA/CA qualified or studying towards completion of one of these qualifications. Someone that has had extensive exposure to Pronto in a systems administrator capacity will be looked upon favourably and strong all round technical skills is a must have attribute. You will be able to work well across many disciplines within the business and have a professional yet friendly manor.
