About The Role:
A Western Australian company delivering major resource development projects is seeking and experienced Contracts Manager to join their Perth office. The successful applicant will be responsible to ensure that all contractual matters are properly negotiated, documented and implemented according to client standards.
Duties:
Liaison with operations, engineering, project and service providers ensuring appropriate commercial resources are provided
Participation in the assessment and selection of contractors
Contributing to and reviewing the scopes of work and contract conditions
Manage tenders, evaluation and award of contracts
Manage and administer contractual aspects of major construction contracts
Assess, review and advise Project Managers with regards to contractual claims for variations and extensions
Provide Project Managers with updates on contractor performance and assist in the resolution of contract disputes
Ensure that all commercial requirements of the contracts are met
Education and Experience:
•Contracts Management leading large teams
•Tertiary qualifications in construction management, law, quantity surveying, engineering or a related field
