Purchasing Administrator

Highly successful Manufacturer of Mining Equipment requires a Purchasing Administrator.

  • The successful candidate would be responsible for all administration related matters in the purchasing department. 
  • Has to be able to energetically attend to all supplier enquiries, directing visitors to appropriate contacts, answering incoming calls, and arranging appointments for suppliers to meet with relevant company staff

Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications is essential
  • Extensive computer literacy skills (Full knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suit especially Excel)
  • 3-5 years experience in the purchasing or buying environment
  • Vendor Management experience
  • Strong administrative skills and business writing skills
  • Compile index systems for the entire Purchasing Department (Stores, Quality, Technical)
  • Report writing
  • Typing and filling
  • Compiling working documents for the Purchasing Departments
  • Full administration support for the Purchasing Department
