Responsibilities

• The Business Warehouse Analyst's primary responsibility is to design, build and implement reporting and analytic reporting solutions for various business units within the organization. 
• The Business Warehouse Analyst will work closely with functional analysts to develop technical solutions for the delivery of key business information.  Additionally, the Business Warehouse Analyst will work closely with project teams and the business to ensure that the right BI solutions are implemented to support the business initiatives.
• Implementation of BW design (from source systems to Reports), Cube/ODS configuration, BW reporting
• Prepare project related documentation (functional design, technical design, test scripts) during different stages of a project.
• Writing technical specifications based on business requirements and functional specification documents
• Build and enhance BW objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources, DataSources, Transformations, Update Rules, DSO, Extractors, Infosets, Aggregates, Process Chains, User Exits, BADI, APDs
• Perform routine program modifications, performance tuning, problem solving, debugging, and unit testing.
• *Responsible for ensuring best practice and adherence to SAP BW standard processes and procedures.
• Data Modeling of new SAP BW/BI applications
• Design, build, test and support BEx Queries and Workbooks
• Design, build, test and support data extracts, Process Chains, ODS Objects and InfoCubes
• ABAP Code Optimization
• Proficiency in BEx Reporting development
• Design robust, scalable reporting systems.
• Adhere to the architecture and roadmap defined to support executive and ad-hoc reporting.

Qualifications

• Five (5)+  years' experience in Business Intelligence, relational and multi-dimensional databases.
• 3+ years of SAP BPC 7.x experience
• 3+ years of SAP BW 7.x experience
• 3+ years of Data Warehousing experience
• 3+ years of Data Modeling experience
• Hands on development work with SAP ECC Extractors
• SAP Business Warehouse, Experience in SAP Business Objects, and Reporting Services.
• Knowledge and experience integrating reports and Business Intelligence into applications.
• Knowledge and experience with techniques used to support real-time reporting scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
