Construction Manager / Construction Superintendent Consultants

Job Description:

• Developing and implementing Construction Management Plans including Construction Scope Packaging, Cost Management, Quality Management, Planning & Schedule Management and Environment Health & Safety Plans.
• Developing Organizational Plans by identifying construction activities and resource requirements.
• Establishing, securing and leading the Construction Team.
• Developing plans and resource for the management and control of construction activities.
• Identifying, communicating with and managing Stakeholders.
• Managing project interfaces with Facility Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement and Commissioning & Start-up.
• Establishing and refining construction scope, schedules / plans and cost estimates.
• Assembling construction performance baselines including cost, schedule, quality and EH&S.
• Leading construction Change Management activities including scope changes and change requests.
• Analyzing construction variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Reporting to Project Management on an on-going basis and for internal reviews.
• Working effectively with other organizational functions and projects.
• Multiple locations are available in Western Canada.

Minimum Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree or College Diploma and 5 years minimum work experience on industrial projects with progressively responsible roles.
• Industrial Trade certification and 10 years minimum work experience on industrial projects with progressively responsible roles.
• Excellent analytical and communications skills.
• Work experience in industrial projects including Construction Management and / or Turnaround Management
• Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications.
• Leadership experience should be detailed.
