Senior Sales Representative – Engineering

Our client is a leader in the engineering, project and business consulting for the mining and infrastructure industries. They are looking for a Senior Sales Representative for various locations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and participate in technical and commercial tender preparation and evaluations
  • Act as the company liaison and subject matter expert to mining consultants
  • Lead negotiations within predetermined parameters
  • Increase market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities
  • Participate in various trade conferences
  • Analyze customer needs and value-added solutions by delivering effective sales presentations
  • Assist customers with the development of power plant needs analysis, plant design specifications and future needs analysis
  • Develop and manage sales budgets:
  • Achieve aggressive sales and margin targets

Job Requirements

  • knowledge of the global mining industry
  • Knowledge of power plants, preferably powered by diesel engines
  • Demonstrated sales success in the engineering services industry with complex sales
  • Seasoned sales executive with 10-15 years of related experience
  • Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Extensive travel, internationally, 50-75% of the time
  • Language:  English, Spanish speaking an asset

Remuneration

  • Base salary depending on experience.
