Why does the job exist?
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Assistant to join the finance team at our corporate office. Reporting to the Treasury & Insurance Manager, you will be responsible for tasks including, but not limited to: cash management, daily analysis on funds employed, capital purchases, international funds requirements, accounts receivable, leasing, monitoring monthly credit card requirements, banking requirements and insurance. You will also be required to assist the team with ad hoc tasks.

What skills and experience do you need?
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience and have a tertiary qualification, preferably in finance or accounting. A background in the Resources industry will be looked upon favourably. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and understand insurance, as well as possess advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. Flexibility and a willingness to assist others, as well as experience in accounting software programs is essential. Prior experience in JD Edwards and Oracle will be highly regarded.
