The Opportunity
The number of Environmental roles available in the Coal Mining Industry continue to grow as current operations expand and new sites are developed. Brazen Recruitment is focused on providing the best candidates for the job when they are needed!

The Role
You will ensure and report all mining activities and conditions are compliant with legislative and site requirements. Your duties will include:
Oversee the environmental management plan with focus on ensuring that the mine adheres to both NSW legislation and company policies
Optimise the management system to improve the mines responsibility to its impact on the surrounding environment
Liaise effectively with the community by responding to queries and issues
Management of the biodiversity offset areas
Develop reports that are presented to key stakeholders of the business in both written and verbal formats

The Requirements
To be successful in positions, you will ideally have:
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science
Extensive experience in open cut coal mining
Strong communication skills and ability to present reports in both the written and verbal formats
