Open Pit Mine Surveyor

This popular mid tier miner will go to great lengths to ensure that appropriate challenges and experiences are provided to local and loyal WA based employees allowing them long term opportunities and O/S secondments if desired.

With this high ore reserve site and well defined ore-body their confidence is expected given they have held a recovery rate of more that 90% in the last 24 months

An energetic individual is required with a ‘stick to your guns’ mining style to provide motivation and effective communication to the mining team whilst maintaining a vigorous and safe working environment.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include, open pit Survey Control and set out pit design pegs, prism monitoring, void interaction and some construction survey tasks and site planning. As well as providing suitable control for engineering requirements and updating all surveys to the database.
