The Opportunity
Our client is one of the world’s leading mineral sands miners and has earned a reputation for taking a long-term and responsible approach towards all aspects of its business. As part of their continued expansion in regional Victoria they have a large and complex rehabilitation program to deliver. An opportunity has arisen for a senior earthworks / rehabilitation superintendent to take on the program delivery within the operation

The Role
Reporting directly to the Rehabilitation Operations Manager you will ensure that the site's rehabilitation program targets are met, both in terms of legislative/EMS compliance, and in terms of contractual and financial KPI’s. You will be responsible for the management of a specialist internal team and a tier 1 contractor engaged on a long term earth moving contract. You will gain valuable experience from working with the senior management team where you will be involved in required to contributing to the long term growth plans of the business.

To be successful you must bring:
Bulk earth moving and/or mining experience
Strong project management capability
Proven leadership capability
Strong earthworks / volume report development and excel skills
Exposure to EMS and health and safety standards on large construction sites
