We are currently looking for an Health & Safety Manager
this is the take ultimate ownership of the entire HS Management. You will have a great team of professionals to work with and interaction with a tremendous management team. The deliverables are as follows;
Overall effectiveness of the health and safety operations
All health and safety systems enhancement and development
All Safety management for site, for all persons onsite
Management of Safety plans to the coal standard (legislative knowledge is essential).

About the position:
Reporting to the General Manager, they responsibilities will be to:
- Health and Safety systems and frameworks
- Deployment of cultural improvement
- Enhancement of the current systems and management of the team.
In order to secure this great role, you will need to hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and have at least 5 years working experience in management or managing. You will need to have strong knowledge risk management and possess strong communication with the ability to converse with the entire organisation. This should be coupled with high level report and presentations experience. This role is the lynch pin for the health and Safety Function in a large organisation so we expect you to be at the top of your game.
