About the role
This is an exciting time to join the accounting team where you will play an integral role in maintaining our relationships with major clients.
You will need to demonstrate substantial experience in a full function accounts receivable position to support a growing team. Initially this role will have a focus on the development of new accounts receivable procedures to support an ERP system implementation and migration from the current system.
Attention to detail, professionalism, effective time management skills and the ability to work to deadlines are essential. An excellent telephone manner is imperative as you will need to build positive relationships while still being able to collect on outstanding payments. MYOB and Excel experience essential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as it supports the company into the next exciting growth stage.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting the development of accounts receivables procedures aligned to a new ERP system to be implemented
- Invoicing and monthly reporting
- Accounts receivable reconciliations
- Collection of overdue accounts
- Liaising with the Group Accountant on the management of debts.
- Maintaining positive customer relationships
- General ad hoc accounting support to the business operations

The successful applicant will be required to travel to our Mackay office for approximately a month at the commencement of their role to be trained in our systems. Flights and accommodation will be organised for the successful candidate.
