Internal Recruitment Consultant - Resources Sector

Are you looking for an opportunity to utilise your outstanding internal recruitment skills for an established company that values its people. A company that is experiencing an rapid expansion and for whom the future is looking bright!

Duties of the position include (but are not limited to):
  • Utilising discipline specific recruitment expertise to provide high level professional recruitment services to internal clients across the Moultrie group of companies to support the rapid workforce growth plans;
  • Managing candidates , taking responsibility for ensuring appropriate and timely  responses are given to candidate enquiries relating to the recruitment and selection process;
  • Initiating, building and maintaining positive professional relationships with our internal hiring managers and high quality candidates;
  • Building, implementing and maintaining quality management of our recruitment and selection processes to ensure integrity of data, maintaining accurate candidate and client records as well as creating and managing targeted sourcing strategies;
  • Providing ‘expert’ advice and support to  the group of companies on recruitment and selection strategy and planning, taking a proactive approach in the development and implementation of candidate attraction strategies aimed at increasing the volume of quality candidates;  
  • Coaching and developing relevant stakeholders in recruitment and selection processes and practices, including effective interviewing and candidate care;
  • Work collaboratively within the Human Resources team in the provision of high level consulting services to the Moultrie group of companies;
  • Ensuring compliance of all hiring policies, procedures and practice to relevant laws and ethical guidelines;
  • Modelling and supporting respectful work practices and commitment to quality service.

The successful incumbent will ideally possess:
  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources or related discipline;
  • Experience in training on recruitment and selection practices and techniques;
  • Minimum 3-5 years of internal recruitment experience within the resources sector;
  • Mining and resources industry and professional services experience highly desirable;
  • Extensive experience in end to end internal recruitment  and selection;
  • Results focussed with the ability to maintain high level consultative relationships with internal clients and candidates;
Moultrie Group has offices in Newcastle, Brisbane and Mackay so some flexibility to travel on occasions may be required in this role.
This role provides the opportunity to utilise your existing skills and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders whilst gaining valuable experience in a company that is rapidly expanding.
