ZERO HARM MANAGER 

Our client is known for their work in Construction, Civil, Mining and Infrastructure projects. An opportunity exists for a Zero Harm Manager based in Brisbane to implement and administer Zero Harm policies throughout their business units.

You will be working within an organisation that is committed to Zero Harm. Your role will include coaching, mentoring and training staff to drive safety and environmental performance as well as managing compliance, reporting and Zero Harm budgets. This is a strategic role but you will also need to be hands on in order to increase engagement across the group.

You will need a Degree / Graduate diploma in occupational health and safety or equivalent. Knowledge or qualifications in Business management, auditing or return to work also an advantage but not essential.

To be considered:
  • Minimum of 5 years in experience in a zero Harm capacity
  • Ability to lead and manage a team 
  • Able to prepare and analyse budgets reports and other information
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience within a construction, contracting, heavy industrial or similar industries
  • Strong Understanding of National Harmonization 
  • Strong understanding of AS4801, ISO14001 and relevant Australian legislation
  • Advanced risk management and hazard identification abilities
  • Change management skills
