Field Service Technician

We require a qualified Auto Electrician / Diesel Mechanic with Crane experience to be based in our Service Division at our Head Office in Springs

Essential requirements:

  • Trade Test certificate (red seal) Auto Electrical / Diesel Mechanic
  • Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience
  • Computer Literate in order to diagnose.
  • Good Communication skills
  • OHSACT Compliant
  • Knowledge of PLC Systems (Programmable Logic Controller) and Can bus
  • Fault finding on PLC Circuits and Can Bus
  • Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components
  • Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Knowledge of layout, design and function of the hydraulic components
  • Able to plan the job
  • Prepared to travel local and overseas
  • Drivers License essential
  • Duties of this post entails installation, commission and support of equipment as well as maintenance and repairs
