Description and Desired Qualifications
- The Challenge? Help to meet the ever increasing demand for Electric power. Our SmartPlant P&ID Administrator position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help our utility Clients provide safe, clean and reliable sources of Electric power to heat homes and schools, run factories and provide goods and services that we all depend upon. Each day you will use your expertise is in graphics and proposal coordination to help our Clients meet the power needs of their customers.
Our SmartPlant P&ID Administrator:
- Must be a proficient user of SmartPlant P&ID
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience functioning in the role of SmartPlant P&ID Administrator.
- Will be responsible for creating new P&ID projects in the Citrix environment
- Will be responsible for creating new P&ID symbols
- Will be responsible for extracting and maintaining reports and lists from P&ID Must have a basic knowledge of materials and equipment associated with power plants
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet programs
- Basic knowledge of database programs Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as MS Word and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to automate Excel using Visual Basic Applications (VBA)
- Special Note: CH2M HILL will not sponsor a work visa (e.g. H1B, etc.,) to fill this position. Preference will be given to qualified candidates residing in the greater Atlanta, GA area.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience functioning in the role of SmartPlant P&ID Administrator
- High School Diploma or GED is required, Associate Degree or equivalent education and or experience is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet programs
- Basic knowledge of database programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as MS Word and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to automate Excel using Visual Basic Applications (VBA)
- Must be a proficient user of SmartPlant P&ID
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Suite product experience is preferred
- Graphic Design and CRM (customer relationship Management) software experience is preferred
- 2+ years of experience functioning in the role of SmartPlant P&ID Administrator
- Proficiency with Microsoft database programs including Access and/or SQL
