Supply Chain Controller/Stock Controller - Mining/Quarry

An international blue chip organisation, is now seeking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Controller to work within their Staffordshire based site. Your role will be varied and will focus on expediting mining parts from suppliers as well as providing logistical and operational support to ensure emergency parts are delivered on time and to the right destination. Working in a team of two you will control all supply chain movements for mining parts as well as working towards company parts availability targets are met through pro-active stock management. You will also carry out a variety of reporting and related administration including pricing information.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have the following:

• Supply Chain, Stock Control, Inventory or Logistics background required.
• Mining / Quarry sector background essential to apply for the role.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to resolve planning and customer issues.
• Experience working a busy/demanding team based environment.
• Good organisational & prioritising skills
