Management Associate - Customer Service
Job Description
- [Company] has an immediate opening for a Management Associate in the Customer Service organization at our Headquarters location in Pittsburgh, PA.
- This entry-level position provides the employee with relevant work experience and exposure to various aspects of U. S. Steel’s overall business, as well as interaction with the customer and multiple functional groups within the corporation providing a well-rounded basic knowledge of the order-to-cash process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Enters orders through a computer Supply Chain Management System, while ensuring order acknowledgments and order changes are compared to and validated against the customer purchase orders;
- Manages and maintains adequate finished inventories to meet customer supply requirements;
- Communicates with customers, producing facilities and technical personnel on a daily basis on various issues including order entry, production, etc.;
- Follows the production of orders to insure on-time delivery to the customer on automotive accounts;
- Maintains shipment forecasts based on the requirements of the customer; and
- Corrects all held and unbilled invoices.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, supply chain management, marketing or a related field
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Excellent planning and organization skills
Computer literacy to a working skills level including proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to adapt to and master web-based supporting applications
