Senior Ecologist - Ecology

Salary: £28000 - £35000

One of the worlds most respected and renowned engineering and environmental consultancies is currently seeking a suitably experienced Senior Ecologist to join their busy, professional Leeds based office.

Salary - £28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience coupled with a flexible benefits scheme.

The client provides a range of multi-disciplinary services to the property, infrastructure, energy and environmental sectors, and is on the lookout for an established Senior Ecologist due to an increase in workload within the ecology department.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrable ecological consultancy experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• At least one protected species survey/handling license
• Full UK driving license

We are looking for an applicant with extensive ecological consultancy experience to undertake a large range of ecological surveys in varying field based environments. High quality technical reports will then be completed within an office-based environment. Previous knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment EIA processes will be required where regular interaction with clients is apparent, frequently providing professional and helpful ecological advice with regards to current projects and developments being undertaken.
