The successful graduate will be required to:
• Assist the management of construction or drilling projects (24 hour site operations)
• Ensure that Health and Safety remains a priority at all times; always comply with method statements and standards and contribute to improvements. Lead by example to create an appropriate HSE culture.
• Deliver an efficient level of productivity and produce high quality results
• Assist the site team in the operation of the drilling and marine equipment; share own expertise to help the team learn
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the contract, build successful relationships each time and create a client focused atmosphere within the team
• Provide commercial and technical support to the Marine Installation Services Unit
The successful candidate will join a skilled engineering team and will be expected to be involved with all aspects of the departments work with a real emphasis in quality, accuracy and professionalism. You will be provided with training and support from within the company and it is also expected that support will be available from the UCP project with mentoring and training to help fill any gaps in knowledge or experience.
Essential Requirements:
• Degree level qualification in a technical engineering discipline
• Ability to problem solve and deal with quickly changing circumstances yet ensure an emphasis on quality is maintained
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Excellent written communication skills
• Computer literacy
Desirable Requirements:
• Proven commercial engineering and project management experience
• Personnel management experience
• Professional report writing experience
