Junior Mining Engineer

Key responsibilities:

• Working with the team on the development of the construction and operational phase of the mine including mine production schedules; sequence maps; mine waste and tailings material balance; equipment cycle times and production rates and reclamation plans.

The successful candidate must have:

• Engineering degree in mine engineering. 
• APEGGA registration
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in mine planning and/or mine operations. 
• Preference will be given to those candidates with oil sands experience.
• You must be highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with mine planning and scheduling software
