Sales Development Specialist – Brake & Chassis
NORTHERN ONTARIO TERRITORY – SUDBURY, ON
Reporting to a Regional Sales Manager – Brake & Chassis Group, you will be
- accountable for achieving sales objectives;
- maintaining product expertise up to date with respect to represented products and competitive products;
- developing a good understanding of Customer’s business reality;
- and developing strong customer relationships and a sound knowledge of your local market environment.
- You will represent all manufacturers in selling parts and delivering customer service excellence to Installers, Stores and Distribution Centres.
- This position will be centralized out of the Greater Sudbury Area.
You will effectively contribute to
· increased sales through well organized and well prepared sales presentations / calls / training with Installers, Store OSS & Counter Clerks, Store management and DC management, on a regular basis;
· recommend inventory coverage at Distribution Centre, Store and Installer levels in order to maximize sales while maintaining acceptable inventory turnover; sales planning and growth of your individual sales territory and the achievement of the annual Key Objectives established for the Brake & Chassis Group.
· This would cover direct store and installer sales, after sale support (warranty & training), the effective execution and measurement of promotions, programs and product launches, delivery of product clinics and training at all levels; continuous competitive analysis and market intelligence, operating knowledge of all NAPA Banner, Major Account and Marketing programs, Installer/Jobber sales target identification and follow up through the analysis of all available sales data; effective communication & reporting of sales progress and challenges; and regional support including store openings, physical inventories and other special projects.
Ideally, you have a University degree or College diploma and a minimum of five (5) years’ of work experience in sales. You must have knowledge of MS Office applications and auto-aftermarket business. You are available for extended business travel and have been ASE certified.
