Project Manager / Geologist

Seeking experienced Project Manager(s) to lead or cross-shift a rotational schedule with other PM’s in early-stage and advanced diamond drilling programs in remote areas of Canada and Alaska.  Projects are commonly supported by helicopters and fixed wing aircraft.

The position(s) will be responsible for:

  • Operations using 2-6 diamond drills
  • Oversight of core logging geology crews of up to 12
  • Camp operations of 25-60 people
  • Air support personnel

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of aviation; fuel handling; drill safety, performance, weight specifications and limitations; and permitting
  • Experience in camp infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, food services, fire and medical services
  • Knowledge of dirt moving equipment, ice road and pad construction a plus
  • Geology degree plus 10 years experience in minerals geology exploration desired, although specific projects may allow for a cross-shifting manager to be a non-geologist
  • Pre-hire drug testing is required
