This Mid Tier Civil and Electrical Contractor have various projects throughout Queensland. The projects include heavy earthmoving, subdivisions and above and underground power supply.

Our client has experienced rapid growth recently and is now in the process of securing a talented Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to oversee this growth. As The HSE Manager you will be reporting directly to the General Manager whist forming close relationships with the HSE Auditor and the Safety Advisor. 
 
You will have:

• Degree/Masters or Diploma in Health, Safety and Environment
• Several years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience working on earthworks, electrical and infrastructure.

 Key responsibilities will include:

• Site based inspections
• Ensure training records on site are kept up to date
• Identifying risks and managing those risks
• Lead/Assist with investigations of Incidents/ Accidents
• Provide injury management/ rehab (suitable duties) services
• Workplace safety training and tool box meetings
• Mentoring and supporting - the OHS&E team
• Provide site safety health training.
• Monthly safety statistics and reports
• Liaise regularly with the community in relation to project matters.

Remuneration package relevant to experience the base will be between $100K to $150K this excellent package will be available for suitable candidates that are willing to relocate to Toowoomba.
