Superintendent Metallurgy.  8/6 FIFO from Perth

 
My client is a significant Gold Miner in Western Australia.  They are currently seeking a Superintendent of Metallurgy to join their team at one of their large operations.


The position will report into the Processing Manager and will be responsible for the Metallurgical aspects of the Gold Treatment Plant.  This role will manage the plant performance through monitoring and improvement as well as the onsite laboratory and the gold room.  


The successful candidate will be charged with management and development of a number of members of staff, including Metallurgists, Laboratory and Gold Room Technicians and Operators.
 
This role will operate on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.  There is an excellent modern camp with all the usual facilities.  Excellent pay + benefits are available for the right candidate.  
 
Applicants should have:

• Significant Metallurgical experience within Gold Mining & Processing
• Prior experience of running a Gold Processing Plant
• Proven ability to manage teams of staff
• Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy
