Your experience as a Business Analyst working on Organisational Change is needed by a management consultancy looking to grow their WA business. Having recently secured a contract on a huge iron ore project, they need your Business Analyst skills to design and build a global approach for innovation at one of the world's largest miners. In this monumental role you will engage stakeholders at all levels as you develop business improvement strategies.
Given the scope of the works you will quickly engage your business analyst experience to build relationships, gather data and create the best solutions. Through stakeholder engagement, workshops and intelligent observation you will identify and document process improvement opportunities then convert them into appropriate high level solution documents. You will provide the necessary expertise and leadership to propose strategic and organisational improvements.
Even though you will be based in Perth there will be a requirement for travel to Karatha (where the main works are).
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Stakeholder engagement including one-to-ones, workshops, surveys
- Business requirements gathering and analysis
- Process mapping
- Develop business improvement strategies
- Produce relevant documentation
- Monitor and update progress of recommendations
As this is a complex and important role it is imperative that you have:
Exceptional communications (this is non-negotiable as you will be communicating with stakeholders at all levels)
Strong experience as a Business Analyst (at least 5 years)
Experience as a senior or lead Business Analyst on capital works projects
Experience identifying process improvements and producing high level solution documentation
Experience in mining and resources will be beneficial, especially if combined with exposure to capital works programmes. While a tertiary qualification is not vital it will be highly regarded as will any PMO experience and certifications.
