Contracts Officer - Mining Industry

My client has a major international presence within the ever expanding mining & resources sector with a reputation for sustainability and reliability. Due to continued company growth the are now looking for two contract specialists to oversee a variety of categories. 
The responsibilities will include: 
  • Vendor sourcing and selection, for a number of categories, including Construction services and civil engineering, Facilities management and IT 
  • Tender process management with strong focus on contract analysis 
  • Cross-functional collaboration to determine optimum strategic direction for each business unit 
  • Reporting & analysis on each spend area as requested 
To be considered for this opportunity you will: 
  • Have extensive commercial experience in a contracts analysis/management position within an industrial business 
  • Have proven success in managing bids and tender processes for multiple categories, and ideally contrustion &/or engineering 
  • Be able to demonstrate examples of absolute determination & tenacity in order to deliver commercial objectives 
  • Be highly resilient and motivated with exceptional energy levels 
  • Possess outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Have the organisation skills and ability to manage high workloads and multiple simultaneous projects
