You are a confident and experienced Health and Safety professional who has managerial experience in coal mining. You are seeking a new opportunity where you will be truly valued for your skills, knowledge and experiences. 


Reporting to the Project Manager you will manage, mentor and develop the HSE Team whilst developing the overall HSEC capabilities for the organisation and all employees. 


You will be responsible for: 
The development, implementation and management of HSE strategies, policies and procedures.
You will identify hazards and complete risk assessments
Carry out internal audits and manage operational budgets in relation to health, safety, environment and community.

To be considered for the position you will require: 
Relevant Occupational Health and Safety Qualifications
Mining experience (preferably coal) is essential.
Supervisory experience in a similar role along with exceptional written and verbal communications and computer literacy are paramount.
