CHPP Processing Engineer

Based in the central QLD coal fields, we are seeking a qualified and motivated Process Engineer to assistant in the strategic development of our state of the art Coal Handling Process Plant (CHPP). Reporting to the Process Superintendent, you will be required to assist in the Continual Improve of the CHPP operation; assessing, developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures to increase the efficiency, quality and safety of the plant.
 
The role will require you to:

• Provide technical support and advice on process improvement
• Identify weaknesses in the CHPP operation and assist in developing models and systems designed to alleviate these weaknesses
• Mentor Junior Engineers within the mining operation
• Show a demonstrated commitment to health and safety

You will require:

• Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy or Process Engineering
• S1, S2, S3 and G2 Coal Generics
• 3 + years experience in an operational Coal Processing Plant and at least 1 year supervisory experience
