Spatial Services Specialist
Our client, a leading global operator in the oil and gas industry, is currently experiencing substantial growth and is seeking to engage a Spatial Services Specialist for a contract role based in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Deliver information through map production and spatial data using ArcGIS
Update, create & maintain Geodatabases from field surveys
Provide input into the development of the GIS data model
Mentor other team members
Provide support for appraisal programs, reporting and assist in data collection from third parties
Required skills, experience and attributes:
Experience with ESRI, MapInfo or similar software packages
Experience performing cartographic processes, map production, maintenance, importing GIS data
Experience in the resources sector would be advantageous
Demonstrates knowledge of engineering principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
BRISBANE BASED CANDIDATES STRONGLY PREFERRED
