About the Company: Our client is a leading worldwide Quantity Surveying practise. They work in a variety of sectors within Australia including resources, infrastructure and commercial. With a very bright future ahead of them they are currently enjoying the start of the boom in WA and in a period of exponential growth. 
 
About the Role: With an ever increasing workload for 2012 they require suitably qualified Quantity Surveyors from all levels. Experience in mining / resources projects is desired but not essential as training is fully provided. Applicants with experience on large infrastructure type projects that are looking to move into the resources sector are also encouraged to apply.

Duties will include but not be limited to the following: 

• Measuring and describing the work including the preparation of tender documentation and negotiation with contractors
• Detailed budgets and cost plans 
• Preparing and interpreting turnover / cash flow projections and profit / loss forecasts
• Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
• Financial control
• Preparation and agreement of final accounts

We have a variety of roles available with offices situated all over Western Australia. We have both office and site based roles available. FIFO is also an options for suitably qualified applicants. 

About the Benefits / Allowances: Our client believes in motivating and developing its staff with great working conditions, an attractive remuneration package and a wonderful lifestyle opportunity. For these particular roles the salary on offer will be negotiable at $90,000 - $160,000 and dependant on your level of experience.

The following criteria also applies to this role: 

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar 
• A minimum of 4 years relevant experience 
• Extremely high levels of business acumen and commercial knowledge
• Excellent Interpersonal skills and ability to lead and inspire
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels 
• Demonstrated strategic planning ability
