Mine Planner

They are currently seeking a Mine Planner to take responsibility for :

Mine Planning:

• Assist with co-ordinating impact assessments via specialist external scientists.
• Assist with reporting on feedback from external scientists.
• Analyse the report and scrutinise the findings.
• Compile a consolidated report from all the specialist external scientists.
• Amend the report according to shortfalls identified by the audit.
• Once approved, give feedback to the client.
• Keep accurate record of audit reports on file.

Compile Management Plans for Clients:

• Assist with compiling of management plans for the Mine covering project tasks, deadlines etc; mitigation measures etc.
• Ensure that legislative requirements as per the Mineral Act, Health & Safety Act and other related Acts are adhered to.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BTech (Mining/Geology) or NHD (Mining/Geology) and/or Government.
• Surveying Certificate.
• Minimum 3-5 years in Mine Planning with understanding of Geology and Survey.
• Good understanding of mining methods, geology, survey, ventilation, rock engineering, project management and valuation.
• Computer Literacy with Mine Planning software (Mine24D, Cadsmine, advantageous SH&E)
