HR Consultant

A dynamic organisation urgently looking for an HR Consultant in Losberg (Fochville)

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 4-5 years general HR experience with a strong emphasis on Industrial Relations
  • Manufacturing / Construction or Mining background preferred
  • Must have worked in a unionized environment

Job Specification

Duties :                                                                 

  • Administer various HR processes           
  • Partner with business units to ensure the recruitment and selection of top talent
  • Ensure effective on boarding of new employees
  • Ensure sound Industrial Relations practices are applied                                    
  • Facilitate employee development          
  • Coordinate Employment Equity and Skills   
  • Development initiatives                        
  • Support business unit managers in resolving performance and other people management issues
  • Compensation and benefits management      
  • Ensure integrity of HR systems and documents
  • Project management (ad hoc)               

Qualifications:                                                           

  • Diploma/degree in HR Management or Industrial Psychology.                                     
  • Solid knowledge of HR related legislation (BCEA, SDA, EEA and LRA) required.                    
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Office and HR systems; CRS would be an advantage.
