About the Job

  • [Company] , with multi-plant locations in the U.S. and Canada, has an immediate opening for an entry level Geologist/Mine Supervisor at its mining facility in Fulton, MO.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Geology, Mining Engineering or related earth science degree
  • Proficient in software applications
  • Trained in scientific investigation principles
  • Knowledge of basic statistical principles and data management
  • Proficiency in use of compass, topographic maps and global positioning systems (GPS) to locate mineral properties and deposits

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise prospecting, mining and reclamation contractors
  • Collect, mine production samples, evaluate sample results and post results
  • Collect, interpret and process prospecting data to plan mining activities
  • Assist in implementation and maintenance of quality program
  • Interaction with property owners and compliance officials and address land issues relative to company mineral rights
