Maintenance Mechanic

Position Description

  • Reports to maintenance department management team
  • Work with maintenance team in completing preventive maintenance and work orders generated in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical terminal assets as well as electrical/instrumentation assets
  • Conduct all work in accordance with applicable standards, specifications, and regulations

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of hands on mechanical and electrical/instrumentation troubleshooting and repair
  • Receive training and certifications on operating heavy equipment and other necessary company requirements
  • Work with minimal supervision and communicate status of critical tasks to department management
  • Regular work attendance in accordance with company policies is mandatory
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC post offer
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work at elevation without issue
  • Must be able to climb tanks and/or ladders
