Senior Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer

Derby, Derbyshire
£28,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are currently working with an engineering and manufacturing company who are looking for a design engineer to be based in their Head office in Derbyshire.
Specialising in the manufacturing of plant equipment the company have clients in Mining, Petrochemical and the Oil and Gas sectors.

Job Description
The role will be predominately design based making alterations and modifications to existing products as well as the development of new components using Solid Edge.

Person Specification
Successful candidates will need to have the following:

- Candidates will need to be educated to HNC level or equivalent in a engineering related discipline.
- Knowledge of 3D Cad package (ideally Solid Edge).
- Experience in manufacturing design, ideally in a related industry (mining, plant, petrochemical or oil and Gas).
- A good knowledge of engineering processes which may include fabrication, die casting, injection moulding and machined components.
