Production Supervisor

• [Company] a major US cement manufacturer is seeking a Production
• Supervisor in our Stockertown, PA plant. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees and overseeing plant operations on a rotating shift basis.
• The Production Supervisor will report directly into the Production

• Following company Standard Operating Practices for plant operations.
• Ensuring all employees and contractors working in the plant work in a safe manner consistent with company work rules and MSHA standards.
• Ensuring that the plant is run in a manner to avoid serious damage to equipment.
• Running the plant in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Ensuring that product is manufactured to company standards.
• Ensuring that equipment operating time and through put is maximized in a manner that is consistent with the company’s practices and policies.

Production Supervisor job requirements include:

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency
• 2 years supervisory experience or 5 years working in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• Union experience preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts to support 24/7 plant operations
• Experience working in the cement, lime or aggregate industry preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to lift heavy objects, and work effectively in a noisy and dusty environment
