Job Description:
- The main duties of a truck shop mechanic are to perform all types of truck engine repairs including work on on-highway trucks bumper to bumper. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions. Work in an advanced technology Truck Shop.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three years related experience.
- Completion of TRAIN test evaluation.
- Must know CAT ET and other diagnostic equipment.
- Must have knowledge of Caterpillar and Allied machine components and systems.
- Must have own and maintain required personal tools.
- Demonstrated technical skill competence.
- Must have knowledge and skills to operate and understand diagnostic equipment including computerized instrumentation.
