Electronic RF Bench Technician / Technologist

Mine Radio Systems, a manufacturer and solutions provider for communication systems to the mining and tunneling industry is currently seeking an Electronic RF Bench Technician / Technologist to join their team.

Position Duties

  • Tune, test and assembly of products in manufacturing department
  • Troubleshoot RF amplifiers and other system related equipment down to component level
  • Replace defective components when necessary
  • Prepare on a daily basis, test data records
  • Test and prepare reports for RMAs

Essential Qualifications

  • Community College Graduate (3 Yr Electronics Technologist/Technician Program) or equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
  • Knowledge of Microwave and RF circuits is required
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving of RF circuits is an asset
  • Enthusiastic, task focused, self motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Proficient in the use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, communications analyzer
  • and network analyzer
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience within mining and tunneling industry and asset

Salary will be based on qualifications.
