Description:

The person in this position will conduct routine assignments and coordination of product projects specific to the Oil Sands product line and team focused on: Product Introduction & Rationalization; Product Performance & Financial Health; Product Price Maintenance; Product Proposals & Support Competitive Intelligence.

This position reports to the Product Manager and the key activities for this position are to coordinate with the Supply Chain on sourcing and re-sourcing of oil sands products.  Establish and execute corrective action reports for oil sands products. Support new oil sands product opportunities with business case development.  Focus on process improvement opportunities within the Oil Sands Products Team. There will be 20% travel expectation to support global product initiatives.

Requirements:

• 4 year degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related fields required.
• Minimum of 1 year professional experience preferred.
• Product, market, and customer base knowledge - prior ESCO knowledge highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
• Strong interpersonal capabilities and a strong ability to adapt to the dynamics of the product coordinator role.
• Proficient in basic information technologies (Word, Excel, e-mail, Data Warehouse).
