Job Description:
- Aerotek is currently seeking a qualified Environmental Scientist that has prior experience with the following:
- Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- HazMat surveys.
- Asbestos/lead/mold investigations.
- Daily project management of environmental investigative studies and assessments.
Requirements:
- At least FIVE years’ experience in environmental site investigation, including field investigation and report generation for Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
- At least 100 - 200 Phase I Site Assessments performed in the past five years.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology.
- Professional Geologist/Engineer (PG / PE) is OK. Client will be willing to train.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to teach and guide inexperienced staff.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with basic digital photo editing.
- Willing to travel locally (Northern Virginia (as far south as Fredericksburg), Baltimore, Washington) is a must.
- Must have reliable transportation - mileage reimbursement to be paid.
- This is a full-time position
