Recruiting Coordinator

Responsibilities

College Recruiting

  • Develops relationships with key colleges/universities
  • Schedules and leads company participation at college and public career fairs
  • Conducts on-campus informational sessions and interviews, providing follow-up to candidates
  • Recruits for exempt and non-exempt employees as needed
  • Coordinate internships across the district

HR Duties

  • Employee relations support
  • Affirmative Action/Compliance
  • Reporting
  • Special projects

Qualifications

  • Experience in coordinating recruiting strategies for exempt and non-exempt staff
  • Significant knowledge and experience with employment law and handling employee relations issues
  • Experience with or knowledge of the Mining industry
  • Ability to travel for career fairs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and training facilitation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships 

Computer Skills: 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook.  Basic Internet navigation skills are required.  SAP and PeopleSoft experience a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university, in Human Resources, Business, Engineering or other related degree is preferred.
