Administrative Assistant/Sales
Job Description
Sales Department:
- Sets up quotes and projects as required
- Submits mix designs
- Quotes pricing to customers as required
- Advises COD or other customers on quantities, mixes, and other use of value added products.
- Reviews customer documents to ensure accuracy
- Works with customers to resolve product or service issues
- Responds to multiple dispatch e-mails by adding products on projects
- Process expense reports and mileage logs for the VP, Northern Region
Requisitioner:
- Secure and account for goods and services as directed for plant operations by using various methods of procurement, including: Procurement Card (P-Card); iProcurement Requisitions; InvoiceIT and Non-PO Invoices.
Office Administrator
- Orders office supplies
- Maintains all office machines
- Maintains conference room schedule
- Compiles various reports as needed
Required Skills
- Performs the administrative functions that support the sales department and office. Primary responsibilities include sales administration and office management
Education:
- A high school degree plus completion of secretarial courses.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years secretarial experience working for one or more supervisors is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Organizational skills, general mathematical skills, and ability to communicate effectively are required.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Must be capable of working independently, i. e., with little or no supervision. Must have strong computer skills.
- Must be able to type 50 wpm.
