Investor Relations Manager

Our Client is a Canadian based gold exploration and development company focused on advancing its' core project, the mining site located on a property in the Yukon, Canada, to production. The company is also focused on continued exploration of its key projects in Yukon and Nevada.

This position is based in Vancouver, hours are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday however due to the nature of the work the schedule is flexible as there is a significant amount of travel and after hours work.

Investor Relations

Increased investor interest and participation.
Identify and implement investor relations best practices;
Develop and execute communication plan to introduce, position and market the company to new stakeholders;
Leverage communication opportunities to raise company profile, ensuring that investors/others are informed of corporate plans going forward and aware of historical/corporate performance;
Develop and maintain relationships and information flow including answering queries from current and future investors;
Prepares background information and/or presentations in preparation for meetings with Investors, prepares records of meetings and drafts related correspondence;
Reviews regulatory changes that have potential to impact financing and works to ensure that the company acts within these regulations

Public Relations and Communications

External requests for information are responded to in a timely manner.
Verbal communications are effective
Written Communications are effective
Drafts press releases and company information sheets;
Develops key messages to uphold the company’s reputation in the financial arena;
Drafts correspondence to respond to requests for information;
Participates in road shows with current and potential investors;
Drafts quarterly investor relations updates;
Ensure web site is up-to-date with information for potential investors;
