Marketing Manager

South Boulder Mines Limited, which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: STB), is completing a Definitive Feasibility Study for the mining and processing of the Colluli Potash Deposit in Eritrea in joint venture with the Eritrean Government. The Colluli Project will be one of the few 'Greenfields' potash mines to come into production in the world in the next five years with production scheduled in 2016 or sooner.

The company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Marketing Manager to develop and implement a long term marketing strategy for an emerging potash producer. This position is a high level appointment and has the potential to grow into a key Board position. The Executive Marketing Manager will be responsible for the formulation, design and implementation of the potash fertilizer sales marketing strategy for muriate of potash (MOP), sulphate of potash (SOP) and K-Mg sulphates as well as building and managing the marketing team. The person will assess the future demand for South Boulder fertilizer products to provide regular forecasts to the mining and processing operations management divisions. Also, they will be responsible for the relationship with clients and managing their sales contracts. Other duties will include assisting with marketing strategies and agreements for the Eritrean Government's share of production and public relations generally.

The position reports to the Managing Director.

The successful applicant must demonstrate extensive relevant experience in the potash and fertilizer industry as well as the commercial and financial understanding of shipping, contracts, product insurance and freight. candidates must have tertiary qualifications preferably in Commerce or Marketing. Other disciplines will be acceptable.
