Technical Sales Representative, Industrial Sales

Our customers are in the cement, mining, steel, glass, and power generation, as well as the agro and chemicals sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business development in Quebec and Eastern Canada
  • Grow business with existing accounts and prospect for new customers
  • Close "technical" sales:  analyse customer needs, collect application information and technical data, propose adapted solutions, negotiate and to close contracts, and to check the proper execution of the contract.
  • Provide after-sales support with high technical content, providing value and solution selling, and identifying and working with different buying influences.

Requirements:

  • Competitive sales person
  • Sales experience in industrial equipment markets is an asset
  • Experience with solution selling
  • Generate new sales opportunities, ensuring repeat business with existing    accounts and develop long-term business relationship
  • Excellent prospecting and cold calling skills
  • 50% of the time travelling-minimum
  • Knowledge in basic computer software (Word, Excel, etc)
  • Applicant must possess a valid passport, driver's licence and own vehicle
  • Professional Attitude
  • Must be Bilingual

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years in industrial, hydraulic, pneumatic or capital equipment sales
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of industrial goods and services
  • Technical knowledge
  • Strong Negotiation and Customer Service Skills
  • Leadership
  • Self Motivated
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment

Remuneration

  • Annual Base Salary + Bonus
  • Monthly car allowance

  • Expenses Allowance
