Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HR Generalist)
Description and Desired Qualifications

Our HR Business Partner (Senior HR Generalist) career is an individual contributor role that implements firm-wide tactical human resource initiatives, policies, programs and consulting services. You should be a self-motivated HR Generalist with at least five years of diverse Human Resource experience supporting a mix of business groups that deliver consulting, engineering, operations and construction projects and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each HR project.
Our Human Resources Business Partners (Senior HR Generalist):
- Implement business planning, strategic and change management initiatives for multiple locations and business groups
- Advise business leaders within the defined geography
- Coach and guide line leaders to develop excellent people management and supervisor responsibilities
- Provide routine tactical HR support for an assigned geographic area
- Advocate the HR value proposition as an informed business partner and assist to drive business objectives
- Provide guidance in interpreting and applying compliance, regulations, policy, procedures and employment law
- Implement the human resource (OneHR) strategies required to meet the enterprise business goals and objectives
- Provide input for the development and utilization of HR metrics, data, work processes, systems and tools to effectively manage the business operations
Additional Information:
- The position is located on the North Slope and requires a rotational work schedule (2 weeks on and 2 weeks off). Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided, however transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals provided while in Prudhoe Bay.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree is required
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse HR Generalist experience
- Mobility – Must be able to travel and willing to relocate, as necessary
- Demonstrated HR business partner or HR Generalist consultation at management levels
- Demonstrated analytical and work process management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability for collaboration and consensus management across a diverse range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and use sound judgment with limited functional guidance and oversight
- Flexibility to work a rotational (2 weeks on and 2 weeks off) schedule on the Alaska North Slope
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working for a large company is highly desirable
- Strong Employee Relations background
- Experience working in compensation and benefits
- Experience working in a Professional Services or client utilization environment is helpful
- Mix of experience supporting business groups/units/clients that deliver on both private sector and Federal government consulting, engineering, operations and construction project is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a Human Resources Management or Business Administration or International Business Major is preferred
- Masters Degree a plus
- Professional HR certification (SPHR, GPHR, PHR)
