You should be a detail-oriented, self-motivated Document Control Professional with at least 5 years of document control experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible day to day project administration in areas of records management, document control (home office and field), office administration, office services and administrative requirements of the client
- Interfaces with project material control, scheduling, expediting, and client engineering to coordinate documentation work, ensuring cost effectiveness of all documentation activities
- Works in conjunction with engineering and the client, project document management requirements and procedures; maintains project record keeping system; ensures that all records management/document practices are performed in accordance with requirements
- Project/system auditing; Basic knowledge and understanding of discipline work flows and deliverables produced to execute project
- Assists Document Control Manager as requested
- Endorse and facilitate the Project requirements, follow standard process/policy locally, and perform quality reviews of overall doc mgmt. practice and platform with oversight from Document Control Manager
- Provide oversight of the document management systems related to project delivery
- Assists Document Control Manager as requested
- Work with leadership to promote connectivity, transparency and quality of service
- Provide general training in document management practice and information systems to the project
- Overall Knowledge of the Engineering Business: Understands major technical, organizational, managerial, and business issues related to operations management. Understand and is committed to Energy and Chemicals Group vision
- Project Delivery Knowledge: Understands project delivery processes
- Resources/Capabilities: Understands overall corporate resources and capabilities. Has working knowledge of division or regional operations, and of experience, staff and capabilities in region's markets and operating areas of responsibility
- Communications: Has strong communication skills both written and verbal. Is able to effectively author internal and external communication and reports. Must be able to effectively communicate with clients and interact with operations, project and construction management. Must communicate effectively in order to organize others and motivate them to achieve.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma required. BA or BS a plus
- 5+ years’ experience in engineering, supplier/subcontractor and field/construction document management
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Functional experience with Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Access
